This course is an extension of mathematics and science teaching methods. It will provide a foundation of the STEAM disciplines in education, the value of integration methods, and strategies used to deliver integrated STEAM education in the elementary school setting. Topics in the course include nature of the disciplines in STEAM education, STEAM pedagogy, teaching strategies, integrated STEAM learning, and problem-based learning.
