Communication Systems

This course covers the mathematics of modulation and demodulation of radio signals to transmit and receive information. It focuses on various forms of amplitude modulation (AM), phase and frequency modulation (FM). This course builds on mathematics from signals and systems course to study how to represent and manipulate the signals in both the time and frequency domain. It also studies the effects of sampling, and how these systems operate in the presence of noise.
