Fundamentals of Advanced Semiconductor Technology

In this course students will learn key concepts and trends of advanced semiconductor device technology. Topics include Moore’s law, MOSFET, CMOS and scaling, high-K gate dielectrics, new channel materials replacing silicon, three dimensional and compound semiconductor device structures. In addition students will be involved in laboratories and seminar presentations.
