Solid State Devices I

This course provides instruction in the theory and application of solid-state devices in the electronics industry. Emphasis is placed on the physical characteristics and uses of solidstate devices. Topics include safety practices, semiconductor fundamentals, power supplies and voltage regulation, other diode applications, bipolar junction theory and application, and field effect transistors.
