Reading Level 2

Goals: Students will develop reading skills to get meaning from nonfiction non-academic and simplified academic texts in English. Students will learn general vocabulary.Students will read at least 12 non-fiction non-academic and simplified academic texts of up to 400 words in English. Texts are graded for use with Level 2 students. Students will learn and practice general reading skills and strategies, text analysis, and vocabulary skills.
