Emergency Medical Responder

This course provides theoretical instruction in emergency procedures as outlined in the current National Standard Training Curriculum (NSTC) for First Responders. It also serves as an introduction to the emergency medical services system, providing fundamentals for students to enhance the quality of emergency care provided as the first responder at an emergency scene until emergency medical services arrive.
