Paramedic Applied Pharmacology

This course introduces basic and advanced pharmacological agents and concepts, with an emphasis on drug classifications and the knowledge and skills required for safe, effective medication administration. Medication pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics be evaluated for most medicines used in the pre-hospital setting. Students will also learn how to establish various routes of medication adminstration and procedures for administering medications via these routes.
