Studies in Literature and Film

Considers the relation of the written text of literary works to film versions from a wide variety of genres, authors, times, and cultures. Students critically analyze filmic representations of the literature and the cultural context from which these emerge. May be repeated once when topics vary. May be offered concurrently with ENGL 6240.
