Introduction to Family and Consumer

Provides an introduction to the profession, its history and philosophy. Special emphasis will be placed on the distinct areas of the profession and the ways in which individual specializations are related and integrated. As it provides an introduction to the profession, it should be taken as early in their College program as possible by those who anticipate majoring in family and consumer sciences.
