Controlled Substances

Students are introduced to the concepts, theories, and principles used in the of drugs, including pill identification, microscopic examination, color tests, microcrystalline infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) clandestine manufacture of controlled substances are also discussed.
