This course will be dedicated to discussions of current news in French- speaking countries and the study of principles of journalistic reporting. Students will critically examine cultural and societal issues and perspectives represented in contemporary French news media. Students will explore the concepts of freedom of speech and freedom of the press within the context of the French-speaking world.
