This course is a study and evaluation of the major family systems theories using an integrative approach with systemic therapeutic interventions, theorists, communication models, developmental models, systemic sex therapy, principles, and techniques of marriage and family therapy, and how they relate to the professional and clinical application of marriage and family therapy. Also covered are assessment and treatment issues involving domestic violence.
