Applied Remote Sensing

This course provides students with advanced topics in remote sensing and image processing including, change detection, image fusion, principle components analysis, spectral signatures, fuzzy classification, and pattern recognition. This course includes classroom instruction, videos, laboratory exercises, fieldwork, and state-of-the-art digital image processing techniques, all to support the interpretation of satellite imagery for extraction of land use and land cover information.
