Research Methods in Geography

This course provides an introduction to quantitative and qualitative research methodology, data collection and analytical techniques. Topics include descriptive, inferential, spatial quantitative statistics and qualitative methods such as case studies and content analysis. The course will introduce students to software applications that are designed for organizing, analyzing and visualizing data.
