Globalization

This course offers a survey and analysis of the multiple dimensions (economic, political, cultural, environmental, urban, ideological) of globalization and its role in shaping contemporary world geographies. The course will situate globalization in the context of capitalism's historical and geographical development and will focus on the changes and processes that have shaped world geographies since the late 1960s.
