Introduction to Global Studies

Introduces students to the ways in which our world can be examined as a global phenomenon. This course proposes that our world is becoming increasingly global and international. Students will identify factors contributing to the complex process of globalization and the experiences that human beings increasingly possess in common. The course treats globalization as a phenomenon that currently exists as well as something that is in a state of performance and change.
