Digital Cartography and Geovisualization

Students are introduced to a broad understanding of cartography that includes art, science, and ethics. Students will learn about graphic design, information visualization, and semiotics as they design maps. In this course, students are encouraged to consider how to present information or a story visually on a map and why maps are mapped as an art form and communication tool. PW: Digital Literacy Pract
