Large River Basin Management and Policy

This course takes a structured and global approach to the subject of large rivers, covering geoscience, management, hydrology, discharge, habitat, policy, deltas, and anthropogenic environment. It offers a thorough foundation for students who have previously worked at only the watershed or catchment scale and are new to large river management and policy and provides insight about issues of management at the worldwide scale.
