Policy Issues: Family, Crime and Addictions

The impact of government policies on youth, adults, and families with addictions will be the focus of this course. The course will examine the intersection of addictions and crime, while exploring the policies and practices of specialty courts such as Juvenile Court, Family Court, Drug Courts and others. In addition, the students will review the current state of the family,family trends, and the implications for family policy.
