Crisis Negotiations Psychological Aspects

The process of crisis negotiations in law enforcement and corrections has two different yet interdependent aspects. One is the mechanics of the process, how to initiate and engage in crisis negotiations. The other is the psychological segment, how to deal with internal and external stressors. This course will address the psychological aspects of crisis negotiation including victim, subject, and negotiator issues.
