Death and Dying

This course offers an educational opportunity with two emphases: (1) the human experiences of death, dying, and bereavement, and (2) how death and grief impact our living. This course engages students in the cognitive, affective, behavioral/skill development, and spiritual/theological dimensions of death education, drawing on resources generated by the modern death awareness movement. In addition, we will emphasize family experiences of loss and grief.
