Family Dynamics

Analysis of family dynamics from a systemic, developmental framework. Through theoretical, empirical, and popular literature students will examine the connection between family organization and day-to-day issues of communication, conflict, and coping with stress and conflict. Includes examination of the contemporary social context in which families operate. As a writing course, HDFE 331 focuses on training students to develop effective APA research writing skills.
