This course provides a comprehensive overview of the science of child development, from prenatal stages through early adolescence. Students will explore major theories of development and examine cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth within diverse socio-ecological contexts. Special attention will be given to developmental disorders and their impact on individuals and family dynamics.
