Safety and First Aid

HED 230 is divided into two parts. The first part concerns itself with the development of a safety education program within an organization (i.e. school, office, shop, etc.). The second part deals with physical injuries, emergency care, and treatment of those injuries. CPR certification and Standard Red Cross or American Heart Association cards are given upon successful completion of American Red Cross requirements.
