American Revolution and Early Republic

This course traces the creation of the American Republic through the period of conflict with Great Britain, Independence, the Revolutionary War, the creation of the Constitution, and the setting up of the federal government, down to the War of 1812. Political, cultural, religious, economic, and social developments are all considered.
