American Foreign Policy since 1898

This course is designed as an upper division reading course in American foreign policy. This course will discuss the foreign policy process, the history of American foreign policy and its traditions since 1898, and a variety of approaches to understanding foreign policy. The goal of the course is to provide students with the theoretical and analytical tools needed to understand the history and current processes of American foreign policy.
