HIT Computer Applications

This course is a survey of computer usage in health care facilities with emphasis on data security and integrity in health information systems (administrative, patient registration, etc.). Course instruction focuses on concepts of computer technology related to health care and the tools and techniques for collecting, storing, and retrieving health care data.
