Introduction to Public Health

This course addresses the core question of public health as a science and introduces fundamental principles related to the field. It is an investigation into the major health challenges students in public health will face today. Students will familiarize themselves with ideas, theories, and methods of assessing needs, resources, and capacity for the promotion of public health along with planning, implementing, and evaluating such programs.
