Methods of Teaching PE, 6-12

Methods and techniques of teaching 6-12 physical education instruction are taught. Candidates apply physiological and biomechanical concepts, motor learning, behavioral, and motor development theory to implement standards-based instruction and assessments. Candidates will demonstrate verbal and non-verbal communication, supports, differentiation, and management through the reflective cycle and apply professional ethics and collaboration as it relates to effective teaching.
