Research Methods and Study Design

This course examines empirical methods utilized in health economics, policy and management research. The course supplements the material covered in HPO 787, with a focus on the application of econometric methods to contemporary topics in health research. The course begins with an overview of experimental and non-experimental research and the critical distinction between associative and causal relationships.
