Asepsis

This interdisciplinary course provides the student the opportunity to study pathological organisms as they relate to health, illness, and maintenance of physiological integrity. The principles and skills of clean and sterile technique, universal precautions, medical isolation, and OSHA guidelines are included. Related medical terminology may be presented through computer-assisted instruction.
