The last of the cardiovascular specialization courses focuses on advanced healthcare management of adult-gerontological patients with congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, and vascular disease in the primary and acute care setting. Emphasis is placed on diagnosis and management, to include assessment, diagnostic procedures, treatment, and pharmacologic management. Particular attention will be given to cardiovascular health disparities in a culturally diverse environment.
