Topics in American History PWGE, SP, W

This course covers a range of special topics in American history at the advanced undergraduate level. Normally taught as a relatively small course (enrollment of c. 25), it will emphasize close reading of primary sources, class discussion, and research and writing, including an series of extensive formal writing projects (usually a research paper of c. 10-15 pages). Topics will vary by instructor but will include major themes in American history.
