The Mexican Revolution

The Mexican Revolution of 1910 was the first great social revolution of the twentieth century and the last non-ideological revolution. Over one million died in the conflict (out of a population of about 15 million). This course will analyze and evaluate its origins, the definition of revolution, and how the revolution shaped Mexican politics, society, culture, and Mexico-US relations to the present day.
