Advanced Research

This class develops advanced research techniques with students, with a particular focus placed on primary source research and longform writing. Students will pick topics of their choice and engage on a semester- long research project, using resources drawn from the library, its digital databases, and other primary source repositories. They will construct a summative project that displays this research through one of the typical media of the historical profession.
