CONCEPTS OF INDUSTRY 4.0

LAB. 2.33. Pr. INSY 5700 or INSY 6700. Departmental approval. Students develop a firm understanding of the fundamentals of Mechatronics and learn how to utilize these new tools in conjunction with the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) via the MTConnect Standard. Topics include circuits, sensors, actuators, controls, communication protocols, Industry 4.0, and the MTConnect Standard. Labs will be held at the Interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Manufacturing Systems (ICAMS).
