Electronic News Producing

This class provides a real world experience of how to produce news, weather, and sports content for a television station, network, or cable outlet. By producing daily newscasts, students gain extensive experience in writing for broadcast and producing content for various story forms. The emphasis is on the organization and analysis of newsworthy content as well as understanding how to work as a news team to put together a professional on-air product. Experiential Learning
