Print and Web Storytelling

The purpose of this course is to teach students the concepts of advanced reporting and writing for print- and web-based publications. Students will learn how to determine which facts should go in a news story, how to quote sources accurately, apply Associated Press style and correct grammar, and understand online research approaches. Students will present information using in-depth hard news and feature approaches.
