Caving

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to participate in and enjoy caving as a lifetime recreational activity. Special emphasis will be given to the development of sound fundamental knowledge and skills such as equipment selection, use and management; selection of personal equipment; safety; basic cave mapping techniques; and understanding and appreciating the cave environment.
