This course will describe advanced concepts related to exercise genetics. Examples include how skeletal muscle responds to exercise at the epigenetic, transcriptomic, and proteomic level. Additionally, cutting-edge research topics (e.g., miRNA and retrotransposons) will be discussed in the context of exercise science.
