Methods in Computational Linguistics I

An introductory course for students in the Computational Linguistics (CL) sequence or those students who wish to learn about Python and its application to Natural Language Processing (NLP). The course will introduce the students to basic Linux commands and programming concepts in Python, focusing on techniques required to work with natural language data. The students will learn about standard corpora used in NLP and CL.
