Mathematics for Elementary School

This course is designed to make prospective elementary school teachers aware of the beauty, meaning, and relevance of mathematics. Topics are taken from those areas of mathematics that are related to the elementary school curriculum, and emphasis is placed on clearing up common misunderstandings of mathematical concepts and results.
