GEOMETRY FOR TEACHERS

Connect advanced college- level mathematics with the secondary mathematics curriculum, focusing on geometry, to develop mathematical knowledge relevant to teaching. The contents include axiomatic systems of geometry, transformational geometry, and similarity. Appropriate technology and mathematics problem solving skills will be introduced. Admission to a program in Secondary Mathematics Education or department approval required.
