Engineering in a Social and Global Context USGC, W

This course exposes students to cultural and societal issues and perspectives in engineering and lays the foundation for students to analyze datasets, engage in guided group discussions, and to make informed decisions in the complex cultural contexts of both the U.S. and global communities. Students will be assessed via a blend of professional/technical writing exercises, assignments, and exams, along with organized oral discussions, debates, and presentations.
