Advanced Materials Science and Additive Processes

Discussion of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and Advanced Materials for AM processes. The curriculum will encompass basic techniques for AM, including Liquid AM, Sheet AM, Wire AM, and Powder AM. Physical and mechanical properties of additively manufactured parts will be considered. A wide array of 3D-printing applications, such as biomedical, aerospace, army, and many custom products will be addressed.
