Electrical Systems & Diagnostics

Students will diagnose minor electrical problems within the ignition, charging, starting, warning, engine management, J.F. INGRAM lighting, and accessory systems (e.g., GPS, depth gauge, trolling motors trailer, stereo, NEMA, sump pump, etc.). Engine management electronics includes control computer, sensors, diagnostic equipment, instruments and ignition systems. Documentation to include manufacturers’ schematics and new equipment assembly instructions.
