Calculus and Its Applications

Department placement criteria (see the MCIS Department website). An introduction to the ideas and techniques of the differential and integral calculus, matrix computations, probability theory, and Markov chains. Graphical, numerical, analytical, verbal, and coding representations and analyses of selected applications of these topics relevant to business, industry, management, life, and social sciences. Does not count towards a mathematics major or minor.
