Honors Basic Statistics

MS 110 or higher. Numerical descriptive methods, axioms of probability, random variables, statistical inference, point and interval estimation of mean, and hypothesis testing. Concepts are reinforced with multiple hands-on experiences throughout the course. A final project serves as a comprehensive evaluation of statistical skills and knowledge.
