The student learns to safely operate an engine lathe in calculating feeds and speeds and shaping a variety of cutting tools by grinding. The student will also safely operate an engine lathe in straight turning, facing, turning to the shoulder and tapers. This is an additional lab for 100 or MTT 147 and MTT 148.
