Theory III

This course continues the study of musical structures, with an emphasis on chromatic harmony and modulation, through part-writing and analysis. The student is introduced to rounded and simple binary forms. The aural skills component of this course emphasizes harmonic dictation with secondary dominants and other chromatic elements, and the singing of chromatic melodies.
